Most of our chronic diseases are totally preventable and even in many cases, reversible, when we address the underlying cause. Traditional medicine typically ignores the underlying cause, makes little attempt to reverse or prevent these diseases, and instead focuses on long term management of these diseases. Many people live their entire lives without learning which healthy behaviors have the power to prevent and reverse diseases like obesity, type 2 diabetes, our leading killer heart disease, and many cancers.
