Men are four times more likely to die by suicide than women. Because of stigmas pervasive in our communities, men's mental health does not often get the attention that it deserves. Attendees will get an update on the current state of men’s mental health, including statistics, current trends and why men’s mental health matters. Attendees will also learn coping skills and strategies that are being used to raise awareness and outreach, learn some new wellness tools and self-care strategies. Lastly, attendees will discuss strategies that they use. 2.0 CEUs will be received upon completion of this training.
