This is Part 2 of the CEU that was held in July. Being aware of and understanding the impact of trauma on the body and the brain is of the utmost importance when working with others in a behavioral health setting. This training session will delve into the themes explored in 'The Body Keeps the Score', the popular book by Bessel Van Der Kolk. This book focuses on trauma in various aspects of life, including physical, sexual, and emotional trauma, as well as childhood abuse and experiences of war. The learning objectives are 1.
