Mental Health Association in DE

The Peer Training and Outreach Services team at the Mental Health Association in Delaware is happy to announce our 5th Annual Peer Support Summit on Thursday, October 16th at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover, DE.

This year’s theme is “Self-care in Peer Support.” The day will be full of rich discussions and interactive, hands-on activities that remind us about the importance of self-care, especially when working in the demanding field of Peer Support. This event will feature of a variety of guest presenters, a discussion on ethics, and the opportunity to meet others in the field of peer support.

October 16th is also Global Peer Support Celebration Day! We will be spending some time recognizing the impact of and celebrating all things Peer Support here in Delaware throughout the years.

A certificate for CEUs will be distributed at the end of the event for those who stay the entire time.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Space is limited!
