The unique nature of Peer Support puts a very high value on trust. But all Delawareans have a duty to report certain dangers. This advanced ethics course will help Peer Recovery Specialists understand what must be reported, where it must be reported, and how to maintain the trust of the client when a situation or incident must be reported.We will look into ways to discuss these issues with clients both before and after a reportable situation occurs, and how to maintain or regain trust after a reportable situation. Students will receive 2 ethics credits upon completion of this course.
