Successful athletes are often able to perform well under pressure, but at what cost? The talk about mental health among athletes is on the rise, with stars focusing more on protecting their mental health rather than “the big game.” Student athletes too often have a lot to balance with school and practice priorities. Being able to support athletes and those who play competitively is important in the world of mental health, as they often have unique struggles of their own.
